Semta Skills Awards 2018 - Help

The Semta Skills Awards are free to enter and entries can be made in multiple award categories.

Nominations open on Friday 1 September 2017 and close at midnight on Thursday 30 November 2017.

Who can enter?

Entries are encouraged from individuals and companies of all sizes working in the UK's advanced manufacturing and engineering sector.

Anyone can enter, either by nominating someone else or by putting themselves forward.

The same applies for nominating a company; they can nominate themselves, or they can be nominated by another company or individual.

It is a good idea for nominees to include a supportive quote from a third party within their entry.

How it works

Making an entry is simple; you can enter online here. Our online system means that you can login and save your entry as many times as you like before you submit it. You can download the entry questions to review offline here by clicking on each award category button.

Our judging panel will select three finalists in each award category and they will be announced on Friday 15 December 2017.

Our film crew will visit each finalist in January 2018 and produce a short video to support their entry; these videos will be viewed by our judges at a final judging panel to select the overall winners.

All finalists will attend the national awards ceremony on Thursday 1 March 2018 at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge.
