Host a WorldSkills UK Engineering competition

If you would like to become one of our valued WorldSkills UK Engineering regional competition hosts we would like to hear from you.

WorldSkills UK Engineering regional heats are delivered across the UK from April to June each year. If you would like to become one of our regional host centres in the 2017 competition cycle, please complete the host application form and return it to us by 1 December 2016.

What happens next ...

After we receive your completed form, we will contact you to discuss in more detail the role of a host.

Along with our competition delivery partners, we will arrange a site visit to confirm your venue has the required space, equipment and staff to deliver your chosen skill. Following this, a convenient heat date will be agreed.

When the WorldSkills UK Engineering competition registrations open in March, your venue will be advertised and offered to allow competitors to register and attend.

Semta will keep you informed of registration numbers to your venue during the registration period and confirm the final number and details of registered competitors when registrations close in April.

Please note
, where a venue does not receive sufficient competitor registrations, Semta reserve the right to cancel the host venue and offer an alternative venue to any competitors registered.
