Semta is responsible for 128,000 companies and 1.65 million-strong workforce that make up UK advanced manufacturing and engineering in Aerospace and Defence, Automotive, Marine,  Metals, Mechanical and Electronics.
We support training providers by developing employer-backed qualifications, national occupational standards and frameworks, and producing reliable sector research and expert guidance.

As Semta is led by employers,  there are also opportunities to work with employers because Semta's expert knowledge of skills management and development means we are ideally placed to support organisations, whatever their size, to get the best return on their training investment.

We have a network of employers that support us regionally, by industry sector and for apprenticeships.
