Registrations for the 2017 WSUK Competition Cycle open on Wednesday 1st March and close Friday 7th April.

The regional heat dates are shown below. If you are interested in taking part, please read our information leaflets that provide an outline of the competition and click on the button to go to the WSUK registration site.

This competition covers the design and manufacture of equipment assemblies. Comprehensive project documentation must also be produced as part of the competition. Each team will need practical skills to use a variety of tools and equipment, communication, numeracy, critical thinking, mathematics, computer science, analytical skills, creativity, as well as the ability to work well as a team. Each Team must be able to demonstrate innovative thinking, multi-disciplinary skills and team spirit. The competition is intended for those who are studying or enrolled on a level 3-4 engineering or manufacturing programme.
